Denotes the luminaire's IP class. The stating of several fi gures
denotes that the luminaire can have a class from above or a class
from below or that the luminaire can be adapted to a higher class.

All luminaires, with the exception of class III-products, are covered by the demands of CE-marking in conformity with EU-directive
EMC 89/336/EEC, LVD 73/23/EEC and CE 93/68/EEC. CE-marking means
that we, as the manufacturer, guarantee that applicable demands in
the directive have been met. Very extensive type testing of the luminaires
forms the basis for CE-marking.

Means the luminaire may be installed against normally
combustible material. |

Class I: Appliances with operating insulation. Equipped with a connection
point for a protective earth.

Class II: Appliance with double insulation. The appliance should be marked with the symbol. May be connected to an earth protected socket via a Euro plug.

Class III: The appliance should be marked with the symbol. For connection to
low voltage via a separate transformer.

Means that the surface temperature of the luminaire is limited in accordance
with the demands set out in EN60598-2-24 (max. 90°C on the luminaire's
upward turned surfaces with normal operation). d-marking will successively replace
T-marking. The change takes place in connection with product re-testing.. |
