Fagerhult Retail is working on reducing energy usage and thereby contributing to lowered combustion and lowered emissions of greenhouse gases. A new lighting solution from Fagerhult Retail can reduce the energy usage to half compared to an older one.

We can contribute to reduced consumption through developing luminaires for energy efficient light sources such as the T5 fluorescent lamp and compact fluorescent lamps. Using different types of light controls also contribute to lowered energy consumption. We always aim to achieve that all fixtures in a lighting solution work in an optimal way. We even offer maintenance which means that the lifespan of the installation will be longer and also give lower energy consumption.

Fagerhult retail´s production processes embrace environmentally correct methods – our manufacturing units are advanced plants of a very high standard. We consider production based on efficient utilisation of raw materials and energy to be of great importance. An example is our paint shop where traditional paint spraying has been minimized and replaced by methods such as powder coating and water-based preparation. Materials components and packing shall be recyclable whenever possible. With new designs we have managed to make significant reduction of material waste. New routines for collection and handling of waste have increased the recycling.

Our ambition is to limit the luminaire's environmental impact during its entire life cycle - from development, manufacturing and use to recycling. We wish to take responsibility for our own activities and, at the same time, satisfy the demands of the world around us through environmental work. The result, we hope, is a healthier environment and improved products.
