Light Emitting Diodes are small LEDs that give
off light. The diodes are usually mounted in modules with different
colours and lengths. All light emitting diodes have a predetermined
colour. The RGB-light emitting diodes are based on the three primary
colours red, green and blue. The LEDs can switch from one colour
to another depending on how the colours are combined. A LED is a
light source with a very long life and low energy consumption. The
technology is relatively new but offers fantastic possibilities.
